Runners Hi

Back again!

I’m neglecting my posts. Sorry. I know I have a loyal fanbase. Ha. I was informed by one Miss Daphne S. (hey you) that in order to comment on my blogs she was required to fill out some information. I was unaware of this. Poo. Well, I am assuming WordPress is asking you to create your own little site to be “in.” It’s harmless, really. I don’t receive emails from them, in fact, it’s totally up to me to come here with no reminders or spamming. Seriously, I’m not lying. You should try it. I’ll visit your site.

I ran a 5k at the local christian school on Monday morning. I don’t even know what my time was, I failed to pay attention to the clock. Brilliant, Linds. I think it was something just under 27 minutes. Typical. It was a 90 degree day, I was dying. This little boy that looked to be about 9 or 10 was in front of me the whole time. Made me feel really elderly. I got first place in my age group though, I now have a gold medal. Awesome.

Congratulations, Dan and Rebecca

I went to a wedding over the weekend. I know that has nothing to do with running, but I thought i’d give the happy couple a shout-out since they’re newlyweds and were gracious enough to invite me to their shindig.

Ok on to the issue at hand. I was going to take a week off. I took four days off. I did run this morning.

What I really want to say is that I wish someone would write comments on this site. Do you run? Why or why not? Embellish a little. Thanks.

runners hi

Ignore yesterday’s rant. I did go for a GREAT run.

I solved my own problem. I ran yesterday in the AFTERNOON. *Gasp* Yes! Even after all that unloading about missing my run (whiney voice) blah, blah, blah. I’m pathetic. So I leave work and it’s absolutely beautiful outside. Sunny and high of about 68 degrees. You really cannot get more perfect running weather than that. So I ran. It was a good run. I also added a few pilates (ouch, i’m sore today) and pull-ups to it. I feel like a beast. But i’m still following through with a week off. Today’s series of downpours help me to keep my running hysteria at ease. Thanks for reading.
